Binding Specificity: pThr202, Tyr204

Specificity: Specific for ERK 1+2 when phosphorylated at Thr202 and Tyr204. On Western blots, it identifies two bands at ~42 and 44kD. Reactivity has been confirmed with UV-treated human Jurkat cell lysates. Immunolabeling in UV-treated Jurkat cells is blocked by the phosphopeptide, but not by the dephosphopeptide.

Staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues, heat induced epitope retrieval with citrate buffer,  pH 6.0, is required prior to staining.
